Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Adairsville Legacy Club website at adairsvillelegacy.com, the Legacy Club member portal, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). The Adairsville Legacy Club is a 501(c) nonprofit organization supporting Adairsville High School and Adairsville Middle School football. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account, purchase a membership, donate, or register for events.

Memberships, donations, and payments

Memberships, donations, sponsorships, and event registrations are processed by Stripe. All sales support Adairsville football and are generally non-refundable except where required by law or as explicitly stated. Legacy memberships are invite-only and subject to board approval. The Adairsville Legacy Club is a 501(c) nonprofit; donations may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Consult your tax advisor.

Accounts

You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Service. You agree not to: harass or threaten other users; post unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content; scrape or automatically access the Service without permission; interfere with or attempt to disrupt the platform; or attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems.

User content

Content you submit to the Service (comments, applications, photos, chat messages) remains yours. You grant the Adairsville Legacy Club a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and use that content on the Service in connection with the Legacy Club's mission. You are responsible for the content you submit.

SMS / text messaging program

Users may provide a phone number through membership applications, event registrations, donation forms, volunteer forms, or contact forms, but providing a phone number alone does not opt the user into SMS messages. Users opt in to SMS messages only by enabling SMS notifications in their logged-in Member Portal profile, or by texting START to an Adairsville Legacy Club SMS-enabled number.

Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Users may reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of membership, donation, event registration, volunteer participation, or any purchase.

• Program. Adairsville Legacy Club SMS Notifications — password reset codes, account alerts, member portal notifications, event reminders, golf tournament updates, fundraising updates, volunteer updates, and membership communications.
• Opt-out. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive a one-time confirmation message and no further texts.
• Help. Reply HELP for assistance or contact members@adairsvillelegacy.com. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.
• Carriers. Supported on major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Privacy. We do not sell or share your mobile number with third parties or affiliates for marketing.

Intellectual property

The Legacy Club name, logo, and site content (excluding user-submitted content and third-party trademarks such as those of Adairsville City Schools) are the property of the Adairsville Legacy Club or its licensors. You may not use them without prior written permission.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Adairsville Legacy Club and its directors, officers, and volunteers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Service.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
